I’ve recently discovered that one of the “worst” things you could ever pray for is for God to teach you patience. God promises that He will always answer prayers made in accordance with His will, and as He desires patience in the life of every one of His children, this is one prayer that will never fail to be answered.
However, the million dollar question is, am I willing to endure the things God brings along my path in the process of teaching me patience?

My drive to the Indian Wells Tennis Garden each morning is one of my favorite things about attending the BNP Paribas Open, as it’s only about a ten minute jaunt with palm trees, desert fauna, and snow-capped mountains greeting me at every turn. It was during this time of day that God decided to send me a personal message.
I was sitting at a stoplight, waiting for the light to turn green, and staring into the gates of a beautiful golf resort as my mind began to drift. Then suddenly, out of nowhere, I was snapped back to reality. As I glanced at the car next to mine, I noticed a bumper sticker with four little words.
