I’m just your ordinary Mac (and Microsoft) fan, history buff, tennis journalist, PR consultant, web surfer, bookworm, gluten-free, dairy-free girl loving and learning about life with an extraordinary Savior.
Without Him, I have nothing. With Him, I have everything.
The name of the blog, Heiress in Training, is a double word play on my first name. Aaress is pronounced exactly like the word ‘heiress’, and I am a spiritual heiress, reaping daily blessings from my Heavenly Father.
My belief in Christ can be compared to my belief that the sun will rise each morning. I can’t look directly into the sun’s light to make sure it is there, but by its light, I’m able to see everything else around me.
Male or female, anyone can become an heir or heiress to Christ’s inheritance of eternal life.

My day job involves running On the Baseline Tennis News, a site focused exclusively on professional women’s tennis news. I like to imagine my own tennis game combines the groundstrokes of Lindsay Davenport, the backhand of Justine Henin, and the steeliness of Maria Sharapova, but somehow I always wake up from my daydream knowing that a ten-year-old girl down the block could probably beat me.
When I’m not glued to my computer doing work, you can generally find me spending time with my family, burrowing my nose in a Michael Phillips’ novel, catching up with friends, or playing with a new app on my computer or Blackberry.
Some of this content is from my first blog, For Such a Time as This, which was published from 2005-2007.
