The name of the blog, Heiress in Training, is a double word play on my first name. Aaress is pronounced exactly like the word ‘heiress’, and I am a spiritual heiress, reaping daily blessings from my Heavenly Father.

My belief in Christ can be compared to my belief that the sun will rise each morning. I can’t look directly into the sun’s light to make sure it is there, but by its light, I’m able to see everything else around me.

Male or female, anyone can become an heir or heiress to Christ’s inheritance of eternal life.

My day job involves working with DuoParadigms, a public relations and graphic design company that I started in 2009 with a friend, Melanie Bogner. DuoParadigms is dedicated to helping Christian businesses and organizations broaden their reach in the world of online media.

When I’m not glued to my computer or working with Melanie and our fabulous clients at DuoParadigms, you can generally find me spending time with my family, reading, shopping at Eddie Bauer, eating at Chipotle, catching up with friends, or playing with a new app on my computer, Blackberry, or iPad.
