Lately, I’ve been blessed to have the opportunity to learn more about the persecuted church overseas. So far this year, I’ve had the wonderful experience of volunteering with Voice of the Martyrs, and through my time there, my eyes have been opened to the plight of my brothers and sisters overseas.

Another eye-opening experience for me was reading Safely Home by Randy Alcorn. This story of the persecuted church in China will not only tug at your heart, but bring you to your knees in prayer for the believers who are sacrificing their lives for Christ. I was blessed by this book, challenged by the story of its two main protagonists, and hope that you enjoy it as much as I did!
