I wasn't expecting God to speak just now, but it's amazing to me how He just surprises me by speaking through an unexpected source in a moment when I'm not looking for it (but desperately need it). I'm in that exact situation, and the only reason I'm not crying after reading this post is because I already emptied my tear ducts earlier. :-/ I know what you mean about it standing out like a searchlight in the dark night; I'm feeling exactly that right now.
